Hi folk, DeBunkem here! Well, I finally gave in and resigned myself to the fact that I am locked out of my old Shack (see here -> Rambling in The Weedy Shack) for eternity. I discussed the possibility of packing in blogging with my wise weasel companion, Monty, but he said: 'Lookey here DeBunkem, you shmuck - I'm your fictional creation and I only exist in the context of your blog, so whatever you do - CONTINUE WITH IT!'
Couldn't argue with that, so here we are. I have been blogging hereabouts in various guises since... well, nearly since Blogstream started. I'm an old timer folks! I think on this one - my new Shack - I'm just gonna mix serious with silly depending on how I feel. No obligation to maintain a tone , or any such thing.
Talking of serious, I'm solo on this blog now, having told Dan that I no longer consider him to be my friend (and yes, that is a real life decision). I suppose that after several years of friendship that could be seen as sad, but as our Queen Elizabeth II is often heard to chirp - 'SHIT HAPPENS!' Still, Monty and I remain good buddies. That little weasel critter is a marvel, so he is. Gotta go and play now - bye!
