One of the wonderful things about blogging is that one - ie I - can indulge silly thoughts and share them with others (ie you). Here's one that sometimes occurs to me:
Wouldn't it be good and silly and utterly pointless - but kind of randomly wonderful - if supermarkets set up a system of face-scanners that fed back data to a huge bank of screens behind the check-outs. Using this technology they would be able to identify the shopper with the biggest face in the shop. It might be you!
Imagine, it's just another humdrum day and you trudge towards the everyday check-out, when... oh wonder of wonders! ... you see your face filling up the bank of screens in front of you. Your heart misses a beat, and the other shoppers start to nudge each other and shoot admiring glances in your direction. You have the biggest face in the shop! How wonderful would that be....
When did we forget how to play?
